Local Spotlight: Service Fanatics

This week’s Local Spotlight shines on Service Fanatics, a faith-driven home services company redefining what it means to put customers first. From A/C and plumbing to electrical (coming soon!), this Southwest Florida team is raising the bar for service excellence and purpose-driven business.

Tell us about your business — what do you do and who do you serve?

Service Fanatics is an Air Conditioning, Plumbing, and Electrical (coming soon) home services company focused primarily on residential service, maintenance, and installation.

If a homeowner is responsible for it within those trades, we’ll take care of it. We currently serve Lee, Collier, and Charlotte County.

How did you get started, and what inspired you to launch your business?

Our inspiration came from a desire to build a trade business centered on two things: our customers and Jesus.

In today’s industry, the focus has shifted away from the customer being the reason for service. We wanted to bring that back — to serve people in their homes with genuine care and integrity. At the same time, we want our business to point both our employees and our community toward Christ. We believe Service Fanatics exists to glorify God in all that we do.

What makes your business unique in your neighborhood?

In a competitive landscape, what sets us apart is our willingness to break industry norms to put the customer first.

For example, our Season Ticket Membership includes the standard maintenance and inspections — but we also give each member a $250 annual credit to use anytime, for anything.

Our goal is simple: no one likes being nickel-and-dimed every time the repairman shows up. We cover the small stuff so you don’t have to.

What moment or milestone are you most proud of?

A defining moment for us was opening our first company meeting with prayer.

It may seem simple, but it marked a milestone — gathering our full team of technicians and committing our work to God together. It was a meaningful reminder of why we do what we do.

What’s one marketing tip you’d give to another small business owner?

Limit your dependence on Google!
Focus on building relationships and establishing a real presence in your community. The more people know you personally, the less you’ll need to rely on algorithms to be found. That’s something we’re actively pursuing.

What’s next for your business — any exciting plans or projects coming up?

Our focus is simple: perfect our processes and customer experience.
We’re not chasing overnight growth — we’re striving to do simple things really well, again and again. That’s how we’ll grow, the right way.

What’s your go-to lunch spot or coffee place around here?

Lunch spot: CAVA
Coffee spot: the single-cup Keurig in our office!
